Bezpečnosť chemických reaktorov (kvantitatívne metódy hodnotenia bezpečnosti reaktorov, runaway, viacnásobné ustálene stavy, oscilácie); Ľudský faktor v kontexte bezpečnosti chemických procesov (kvalitatívna a kvantitatívna analýza) Spaľovanie uhlia (kinetika, modelovanie, ekologizácia) Splyňovanie, pyrolýza  obnoviteľných zdrojov energie
